Now an absolute highlight and core tradition of Gatesheads events calender this family event of building and banging, creating and constructing with wood returns. Gateshead Family Sculpture Day is run by Gateshead Councils Culture Team and sees up to 2,000 people descend on Saltwell Park yearly, to get making.
